As a result of a problem with their server, a company suspected malicious activity was the cause. The forensic investigator found evidence of the illegal entry, and recovered 100% of the data which was deleted by the perpetrator. The forensic investigator also aided the FBI and State Police in the identification of the perpetrator by utilizing firewall logs and ingenious reverse forensic engineering.
