South Jersey's Legendary Bobby Chez To Speak At Miles Young Entrepreneur Award
Robert Silwowski - the award-winning entrepreneur behind the legendary Chez Robert and the now famous crabcake empire of Bobby Chez - shares advice, wisdom and his tremendous entrepreneurial spirit at Miles Award event.
MOORESTOWN, NJ - (March 8, 2006) – Miles Technologies, creator and host of the Miles Award, honoring the Young Entrepreneur of Southern New Jersey, is pleased to announce that South Jersey's legendary Bobby Chez – well-known South Jersey Entrepreneur Robert Silwowski - will be an honored guest at the Miles Award presentation ceremony on Friday, May 19, 2006 at The Enterprise Center at BCC in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.
A leading entrepreneur in South Jersey for over 25 years, Silwowski, in 1997, opened Bobby Chez Seafood Specialties in Voorhees, New Jersey.
Today, the Bobby Chez crabcake empire supplies at least 20 restaurants. Silwowski also owns five gourmet take-out stores including the first one in Voorhees, opened after Silwowski and his mom outgrew his own Voorhees home kitchen. There are also Bobby Chez shops in Cherry Hill, Mount Laurel, Collingswood and Margate . The fabled crabcakes are also available in local supermarkets, including Acme and Shop Rite. Fabled indeed – the total sold each week is 30,000.
Recently, Silwowski – who started his first business at age 8, selling flavorful snow cones - was featured as the cover story of SJ Magazine, http://www.sjmagazine.net, in the publication's March issue.
