Miles Award 2006 Entrepreneurial Tour Visits Rowan University
Rowan University students to get advice, perspectives from leading South Jersey executives representing Miles Technologies, Boomerang and Team Builders Plus. All endorse and support the Miles Award - recognizing the Young Entrepreneur of Southern New Jersey.
GLASSBORO, NEW JERSEY (MARCH 21, 2006) – The Miles Award is bringing its message of entrepreneurialism and youthful spirit to Rowan University - with representatives of three leading companies endorsing and supporting the Miles Award 2006 sharing perspectives, expertise and the pitfalls and rewards of the entrepreneurial journey with Rowan University students.
The Miles Award 2006 Entrepreneurial Tour is scheduled for Monday, March 27, 2006 at 4:45 p.m. at Bunce Hall, Room 107, Rowan University , Gloucester County , New Jersey . Rowan University 's Chapter of the Society for the Advancement of Management will host the Miles Award 2006 Entrepreneurial Tour. Refreshments will be served.
The Miles Award - which recognizes the Young Entrepreneur of Southern New Jersey - was conceptualized by Burlington County Entrepreneur Chris Miles, founder of Miles Technologies, in cooperation with the Entrepreneurs Forum of Southern New Jersey (EFSNJ). Rowan University is also a partner in the Miles Award 2006 endeavor.

The Miles Young Entrepreneur of Southern New Jersey Award was formally presented to DeForest during a ceremony at Miles Technologies in Moorestown in Spring 2005. DeForest is the first recipient of the Miles Award. A resident of Haddon Heights , NJ , DeForest, 28, is the vision behind Boomerang, a Washington Township retailer that specializes in repurposing and redistributing used office furniture.
