As Client CIO, Taylor works closely with a wide variety of organizations to help them make the best possible use of technology. Taylor helps with formulating and implementing technology strategies, IT planning and budgeting, and infrastructure assessments and upgrades. With a diverse background in IT management and custom software development, he provides C-level IT strategy guidance and recommendations which encompass both fields.
Working primarily with clients in the construction and engineering industries, Taylor consults with them to formulate and implement technological solutions based on the needs inherent to those fields. He is highly knowledgeable regarding the specific hosting and maintenance requirements of business applications utilized within the construction industry. Taylor is also experienced in providing expert consultation on the document control and specialized printing needs of these customers.
He enables his clients to leverage technology efficiently while ensuring they are positioned for success when it comes to external security audits.
Taylor's formal education includes a B.S. Computer Science from Villanova University and an MBA earned at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Taylor resides in Moorestown, NJ, with his wife and five children. His interests include single board computers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Beagle Bone), computer science education in grades K-12 ( Hour of Code, Code.org ), wireless devices, solid state lighting, and audio engineering. He is a Trustee of the Moorestown Theater Company, where he also serves as a Technical Consultant, and has provided strategy consulting and leadership coaching (gratis) to several local charitable organizations.
